Application: The free iOS or Android application owned by Medibee that allows you to access our Services. Device: Your mobile device or tablet used to access the Services via the Application. Current Pharmacy: The pharmacy that controls your pharmaceutical record when you register with Medibee. Participating Pharmacy: Our partner pharmacies that deliver medications to your home. Personal Information: Any information concerning an identifiable person that reveals something about their identity, characteristics, or activities. Services: The use of our website or application to connect with a Participating Pharmacy and order medications for home delivery. Summary
Medibee complies with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA). We collect personal information to provide our services, including but not limited to names, email addresses, medication histories, medical conditions, and health insurance information.

The Services are owned and operated by Oxmo Canada Inc., located in Montreal, Canada. References to "Medibee", "we", "our" or "us" in this Policy may include Medibee and/or its affiliated companies, shareholders, officers, directors, employees, agents, partners, mandataries, representatives, successors and assigns.
Acceptance and Modifications
By visiting the website, downloading the Application, or registering for an account, you accept this Policy. By providing personal information, you consent to Medibee collecting, using, and disclosing this information as described in this Policy. If you do not consent to this Policy, or if you withdraw your consent later, we may not be able to provide the Services, and you will need to stop using the Application.

If you are legally authorized to make medical decisions for another person (child or parent), you can create a profile for them by providing their personal information. We use the date of birth and the nature of your relationship to confirm your authorization.
To add an adult to your family account without legal authority (such as a spouse), we need their first name, last name, and phone number to obtain their explicit consent.
Identification Information
Due to the nature of our Services, we may need to collect information to validate your identity, such as your driver's license number or a photo of it.
Health Information
We need to collect certain health information to share with your Participating Pharmacy, including your medications, your doctor's prescriptions, and your date of birth. You can also provide us with the name of your current pharmacy, your pharmacy record, allergies, and health problems.
Insurance Information
We collect your insurance information (first name, last name, date of birth, sex at birth, health insurance number, public and private insurance providers) and a photo of your health insurance card to validate your identity, communicate with your insurers, and ensure the best price for your medications.
Contact Information
To communicate with us, you must share your first name, last name, email address, and phone number. We use this information to respond to you, send you renewal reminders, and contact you in case of emergency.
Shipping Information
We need your address to deliver your medications.
Payment Information
To process payments, we need your payment information (credit card, Visa debit card, PayPal, Apple Pay, or Google Pay).
Purchase Information
To complete your orders, we collect information such as the name and quantity of medications, your preferred products, and the delivery address.
Product or Service Information
We collect information about your appointments and services provided, including requests for prices, pharmaceutical advice, or prescriptions.

AI applications may include: classification of medical documents, data extraction, order prioritization based on risk, shipping prioritization, and support request classification.

Children Under 14
Our website is not intended for children under 14. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children without parental consent. If we learn that we have collected information from a child without parental consent, we will delete it.
Only the parent or legal guardian of a child under 14 can access or modify their personal information. We may request documents such as a copy of custody agreement or court order to process these requests.

Medibee uses industry best practices to ensure data security. Our third-party providers and hosting partners are selected for their high security standards.

For payments, we use Paysafe and Global Payments, which are certified at the highest security level (PCI-DSS level 1).

Cross-border Transfer of Personal Information
Your personal information may be transferred and stored in other countries, including the United States. By using our Services, you accept these transfers and understand that your information may be accessible to foreign government authorities.
The main services concerned are our customer service system, newsletter service, and appointment service (Zendesk, Customer.io, and Calendly). Medibee protects your information through contractual agreements with these third parties.
Email Communications
We use Customer.io, Zendesk, SendGrid, and Calendly to manage our communications. Your information is transferred to them only for sending emails and is not used for other purposes.
You can unsubscribe from our mailing list at any time via the link at the bottom of emails. However, emails related to your account and medications do not have an unsubscribe option as they are necessary for the service.
Our practices comply with anti-spam laws, including CASL (Canadian Anti-Spam Legislation).
Limited Collection of Information for Statistical Purposes
We use analytics programs (Google Analytics, Firebase, Segment, Heap, Crazy Egg, Facebook Pixel) to understand how users use our Services. These programs automatically collect information such as your IP address, browser, device, and pages visited.
This information is used to improve our Services and may be used to trace fraudulent activities.
Aggregated Information

Medications: Any medication or natural health product may cause adverse effects or interactions. Read the inscriptions carefully and consult your pharmacist. Keep medications out of reach of children.
Pharmacy Practice: The medications and pharmaceutical services on medibee.ca are offered exclusively by the pharmacists of Pharmacie Abd-el-monem Osman inc. affiliated with Medibee. The pharmacist owner Abd-el-monem Osman is solely responsible for the practice of pharmacy.
